He dropped the phone but didn’t hang up. The housekeeper seemed to be saying something else, but he had no time to pick it up and listen. He ran to his car and slammed the accelerator to rush to the hospital.
The only people in the ward were two nurses and the housekeeper. The bed was left messily and Qiao Yu was missing. They told him that they thought Qiao Yu was simply going out for a walk, but after waiting for a long time, they noticed that she hadn’t come back. Gu Feihan made people search everywhere, but they still couldn’t find her.
Near dawn, he finally received a call from her and he felt relief and joy, “Where are you?”
“Tell me the address and I will pick you up.”
“No, I’m leaving. In fact, truly, you didn’t have to take out my child so painstakingly. From the beginning, I had the intention of not asking you for anything, for him not to ask you for anything.” she said. Her tone was calm, but she suddenly laughed a laugh with a touch of bitterness. It was difficult for her to say.
As she mentioned the child, tears started to come out again and she looked up at the sky so her tears would not fall, “You can be rest assured that I will never bother you again. I will be far away from you. I will not appear in front of you in the future again.”
“No! Where are you? Qiao Yu, tell me where you are,” Gu Feihan screamed, but it fell on deaf ears.
After she had finished speaking, Qiao Yu threw the phone into a trash can and turned to walk away.
“Where do you want to go,” Lu Qingyu asked as he drove them away.
“Anywhere is good to me,” she responded.
Qiao Yu turned around once more to look at the familiar city, thinking that as long as Gu Feihan lived there, it would be best if she never saw him again.
Gu Feihan found the location of the mobile phone through secretive means, but found it in a trash can while the person who made the call was no longer in the area.
Filled with anger, he asked his people to check upcoming flight information but they couldn’t find her.
Front hat day forward, Qiao Yu’s words made him feel as if his world had disappeared. Gu Feihan used all of the forces he could use including the police, but they couldn’t find a trace.
A few days later, the housekeeper remembered something. She hesitated whether to tell Gu Feihan or not. When she passed him, he was lost in a daze looking at the wedding photos. He’d been there for such a long time that he could’ve been a sculpture that depicted sadness and an indescribable vulnerability.
“Young Master,” the housekeeper called to him, “the Young Miss seemed to have come and visited the house the night of the mid-Autumn Festival. The next morning, she was driven out by Miss Luo.”
Gu Feihan didn’t say anything but his hands clenched the album.
The next morning, Luo Xuan received a call from her agent saying that an advertiser wanted to cancel her endorsement along with a movie and TV series that were in negotiations.
Anxious and upset, she came to Gu Feihan for help but the housekeeper stopped her from entering, “Young Master asked me to tell Miss Luo not to come again in the future. And that you should know what you did and this is a lesson. Lastly, if you continue to struggle, don’t put the blame on him but yourself.”
[T/N]: Okay, okay, Gu Feihan. You moved to -99 for me from -100. Hahaha! Kidding.
