Qiao Yu couldn’t bear the look in his eyes. It was as if they were going to swallow her. She coughed and changed the subject, “Your Miss Luo really seems to be with the general manager of the technical department. When I went down to deliver the documents today, I saw her coming out of his office.”
“Why does this matter to me?”
“Don’t you remember? She called you in the middle of the night a few days ago.”
Gu Feihan gave her a cold look and didn’t answer.
Qiao Yu learned that the event for tonight was for a birthday banquet for a 70-year-old of a wealthy family. Those who came to the event were all respectable figures in politics and business. As soon as Gu Feihan appeared, someone immediately came up to him to strike a conversation.
After a few polite greetings, he took her to greet the old man, but the first words that came from Gu Feihan’s mouth stunned her.
“Grandpa…”
The old man took Gu Feihan’s hand and they exchanged a few words before turning his gaze to Qiao Yu, “And this girl is…”
“My wife,” Gu Feihan winked at her, “Qiao Yu call him Grandpa.”
Qiao Yu smiled and bowed obediently.
The old man enthusiastically asked them when they married and when they were planning to have children. Gu Feihan answered them one by one, occasionally making jokes–the atmosphere was overall harmonious.
Meeting his grandpa, Qiao Yu felt confused and complicated. When she and Gu Feihan got married, they only got the certificate. There was no wedding. Let alone there wasn’t even a marriage afterwards. He was so disgusted by her, he thought it was unnecessary to see her.
This was the first time he brought her to see his family and it was the first time she learned of his relatives.
“Why did you suddenly let me meet them?”
“Do I need to have a reason,” Gu Feihan replied naturally, “Isn’t it normal for a man to bring his woman to meet his family.”
Qiao Yu was speechless for a while. What he said was applicable to couples, but was it really necessary for their current relationship.
“I don’t think we have to go furthermore. We will be divorcing after three months, and you’ll have to explain it to all of them when we do.”
“It’s because I don’t want to explain, that’s why I want to tell you to stay and don’t leave,” he smiled and squeezed her hands, “It’s really not easy for the old man to meet you–you’re very lucky. When my dad came back with my mom, he was beaten out.”
“That happened,” Qiao Yu whispered in surprise and looked at him curiously.
Gu Feihan seemed to be in a good mood as he was rarely interested in telling her old stories about his family. It was a pretty dog-blooded story. A rich girl fell in love with a poor boy and was beaten by the woman’s father. However, the daughter decided to follow the poor boy and so the old man broke off his relationship with his daughter.
“And, then?”
“My father took my mother away and started from nothing. When I was younger, my family had a hard time but they were always very affectionate. Later on, my dad’s business gradually picked up. It was because of hard work. But because of your father’s actions, the company went bankrupt–my dad went in and the family was ruined.”
[T/N]: Well that took a turn…I’m not going to lie, I kind of feel bad for Gu Feihan’s family.

He’ more like a spoiled rich kid now. He’s angry and impulsive .I don’t know if he will get beyond all of his silliness .If he doesn’t people like that actress will cause more trouble.
