Fluff, fluff, fluff, and… FLUFF

After being perplexed for some time, Ye Wan Wan had no other choice but to ask him what she had previously asked before, “It… It’s just sleeping right? The literal meaning of sleeping?”

Thinking that her assumptions were right, Ye Wan Wan sighed in relief, following which she saw Si Yehan placing down the teacup in his hand. Gazing towards her slowly with his eye dyeing the same colour as the night, he calmly spoke, “I can’t guarantee since I’m only a normal man after all.”

“……”

The moment Si Yehan’s voice fell, Ye Wan Wan was completely stunned in place……

Can you not be so modest! In my mind, you had never been a normal human!!!

After muttering to herself for a long while, the girl suddenly snuggled against the source of warmth, nestling into his embrace, cried out as she mumbles, “Dad…”

Si Yehan, “…… ”

After calling out once, she quieted down as if having fallen into a deep sleep. After a good while, her shoulders slightly trembled. She was in an anxious and panic state in her dream, and muttered, “Wan Wan is behaving… Wan Wan is studying hard…. Don’t be mad at me…. Don’t ignore me… please……”

Si Yehan’s gaze looked complicated as he stared at the girl’s little face. After a long while, he finally extended his hand, his fingers wiping off the tears spilling out from the corner of her eyes.

Hearing this, Si Yehan drooped his head as he chuckled.

These words said by Ye Wan Wan were clearly hinting something, she was actually accusing him.

Ye Wan Wan’s whole face darkened, “What are you laughing at! You dare laugh!”

Si Yehan gaze at the girl’s flushed, furious little face. Lowering his head, he kissed the corner of her lips, “I’m very much looking forward to it.”

By the time Ye Wan Wan managed to respond to whatever Si Yehan was saying, her eyes were like bells shaking as they widen in shock: “……. !!!”

Seeing that the man’s face had significantly relaxed, Ye Wan Wan quickly climbed up to sit on his laps, “I just knew that Baby is the best!”

Si Yehan: “……. ”

Did he say he’d forgive her?

The man pinched the girl’s delicate chin, drew near at a dangerously close distance, then distinctly spat out each and every word, “Ye Wan Wan, did you think that I’m so easily fooled?”

Following which Ye Wan Wan dropped a kiss onto Si Yehan’s cheek while maintaining the sitting posture, “No, not at all! Baby, you’re so brilliant and wonderful! You’re not easily fooled at all! You’re just worried about me, loved me, and hate to part with me!”

Si Yehan: “…… ”

After finished talking, Ye Wan Wan quickly grabbed the blanket from the sofa at the side, then wrapped herself up.

The girl’s soft murmurs sounded from within the blanket, “Jerk, pervert, big devil… treated me so badly… so hateful… utterly cold-hearted… not the slightest bit of warm… why should I even care about you… You should just go wherever you want to go…”

The surrounding fell into a deep silence…

After a long while, as Ye Wan Wan thought to herself that Si Yehan had already left, she suddenly felt something pulling on her. Ye Wan Wan quickly added more strength onto the grip, refusing to let go.

Si Yehan put more strength into the pull, forcibly pulling away the covers which were binding Ye Wan Wan up.

Just as he was about to speak, he was completely caught off guard, as the sight that greeted him was unexpectedly the girl’s tear stained little face….

Ye Wan Wan was sitting with her knees to the side, nonchalantly wiped off the tears spilling across her face. Her face was expressionless as she spoke, “What? Why haven’t you left yet?”

Si Yehan’s thin lips were tightly pressed together as if facing a very thorny and critical problem. His gaze was unwavering and firm as he stared at her.

The man’s gloomy deep eyes, looking somewhat impatient, “Where’s Wan Wan?”

Old Madame felt helpless as she looked at her grandson. It’s already this late, he didn’t even properly take care of his health, the first thing he’d thought about was Wan Wan, didn’t she just left a few minutes ago?

At this moment, the sounds of footsteps resounded, Ye Wan Wan had quickly gone upstairs after sending the person away.

Seeing Ye Wan Wan, Old Madame sighed in relief, “Look! Hasn’t she already arrived? Can you let Doctor Sun check up on you now?”

Si Yehan: “Come here.”

His words were clearly directed to Ye Wan Wan.

Ye Wan Wan obediently walked over towards the bedside.

After Ye Wan Wan arrived, the mien surrounding Si Yehan’s whole body seemed to have instantly vanished and he gradually relaxed, immediately closing his eyes, letting Sun BaiCao and his disciple conduct several inspections on his body.

Si Yehan’s fingers only made slight movement, a little star was quickly made and rested on the hollow of his palm, it was more perfect than the one that was folded by Ye Wan Wan, “Like this?”

“Correct!!! Baby, you’re so awesome!” Ye Wan Wan gave Si Yehan a quick peck on his cheek.

Si Xia was looking at his family’s high-born and aloof Ninth uncle who was wearing a custom-made suit on his whole body, was currently folding little stars, “……”

As that pair of eyes with unfathomable and unblinking gaze was looking at her, she felt as if they could even penetrate into the depth of  her soul….

Feeling her heart skipped a beat, Ye Wan Wan subconsciously reached out to cover up Si Yehan’s pair of eyes which could cause people to indescribably get flustered, she urged, “So, don’t talk to me anymore, quickly go to sleep!”

Si Yehan lifted his hand, grabbing the girl’s little hand which was covering his eyes, holding and placing it on top of his heart…

The heartbeat that she was feeling on her palm…. it was beating very fast….

After a long while, within the serene late night, sounded the man’s deep and hoarse voice, “All right.”

When the man spoke, his throat slightly trembled, while Ye Wan Wan’s hand which was covering his heart felt warmth spreading into her palm.

Soon, came the sound of the man’s calm, steady and long breathe from the other side. Si Yehan was holding her hand in the palm of his hand, letting her feel the rhythm of his heartbeat.

Having stayed beside Si Yehan for so long, she had originally thought that she’d finally understood this man, but sometimes she’d have this feeling as if she had never understood him.

Touching the man’s pale white lips with her fingers, Ye Wan Wan slowly drew out the words which had been rippling inside her heart, blankly muttered, “Si Yehan… why… why do you believe in me?”

Ye Wan Wan gazed at the man’s face which could confuse all living things, forcing out a smile as she softly let out a sigh, “Aren’t you afraid… that I might actually be after your life?”

Si Yehan slightly knitted his brows, and slowly opened his eyes. Those pair of deep cold eyes as if containing a hidden depth, as if they were shrouded by a layer of mist. When he looked at her, it was as if she was the only one who existed within the whole world, “Whatever you wish for… I’ll give it to you…”

Si Yehan felt like he was having a very, very long dream. The dream didn’t contain the slightest trace of light, no matter how long he walked, he couldn’t reach its end…

That endless darkness as if capable of swallowing up his everything…….

There was only that gentle warmth on his palm, like an unending stream, it constantly reminded him not to stop, hoping for him to continue walking…

He wasn’t sure how long it continued, by the time he finally managed to escape from the darkness, he finally saw a faint ray of light…

“I couldn’t sleep well.” Si Yehan said.

Hearing this, Ye Wan Wan didn’t say anything, she lifted the quilt open to sit beside Si Yehan.

“Is this better?” Ye Wan Wan inquired.

Si Yehan: “It’s better to lie down.”

Ye Wan Wan was momentarily speechless, “…….”

Si Yehan softly chuckled, that magnificent smiling expression as if petals of flowers could fall gently from those pair of enigmatic eyes.

Seeing the man’s smile, Ye Wan Wan was instantly dumbstruck.

WTF! How devious!

This was her first time seeing the big devil’s smile looking so… gentle and soft…

Is this the result of washing his eyes? Unbelievable!

Seeing the man’s rare smile, Ye Wan Wan softly let out a sigh of relief, “Are you in a good mood right now?”

Si Yehan: “En. ”

Ye Wan Wan leaned her body closer, giving a kiss on his cheek, smiling with her squinted eyes, “Is this much better now? You should go eat first. I have to go make a report for work after done eating.”

Mei: Opss… Maybe not all of them are fluffy ones. I-It must be the work of the ninja cutting onions!
